It's been 12 years since we've had a new BioShock game, and it looks like we'll be waiting longer still since BioShock 4 is reportedly stuck in development hell. People familiar with the situation tell Bloomberg that BioShock 4, currently being made by Cloud Chamber, is having its narrative overhauled after publisher 2K Games was unhappy with it. There's also been a leadership shake up, with studio head Kelley Gilmore ousted and creative director Hogarth de la Plante now in a publishing role. 2K says, "We are working hard to set BioShock up for the best possible future. Right now, we have a good game, but we are committed to delivering a great one."
