Ubisoft has announced delays for several of its major upcoming titles, including Far Cry 7, Assassin’s Creed Hexe, and the next Ghost Recon, pushing them potentially into 2026 or later. The decision follows an internal review to give developers more time to ensure the best possible game quality. Ubisoft stated that this approach has already benefited Assassin’s Creed Shadows and expects stronger content in fiscal years 2026–27 and 2027–28. Although the company didn’t specify titles in its press release, insider reports suggest Far Cry 7 is targeting a late 2026 release, while Hexe may not arrive before 2027. Ubisoft is also undergoing major restructuring with a Tencent-backed shell company and a $100 million cost-cutting plan, which will likely result in more layoffs. #ubisoft #gaming #assassinscreed #farcry #tencent
