## Caption

Yesterday was a bittersweet day for RIC Campus Police: Officer Gary Venditto retired after 10 years at RIC and more than 34 years total as a police officer, the first departure under Chief James Mendonca's tenure. Coincidentally, it was also the chief's two-year anniversary at RIC. Congrats to both!
