Supporters of Karmelo Anthony gathered outside the Collin County Courthouse following a hearing over whether the judge should recuse himself from the case. Anthony was convicted of murder in June in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf on April 2, 2025. Witnesses said Anthony stabbed Metcalf in the chest with a pocketknife after the two got into a dispute over seating at a regional track meet. #AustinMetcalf #KarmeloAnthony #CollinCounty #TheCrimeDesk
