Meet our graduates: Marleni Suazo just graduated with a BA in #youthdevelopment and a certificate in #nonprofit studies. Her work in youth development began in her senior year at #hopehighschool in #PVD, where she helped develop curriculum for a new school within Hope, 360 High School. She also recruited #ESL students from #alvarezhighschool to participate in youngvoices_ri and has done #communityservice work at bgcprov, Bailey Elementary School & methighschool. Now she’ll take on a full-time position as a counselor for #middleschool girls at the #YWCA, teaching #socialjustice. “What’s most important to me is to be a role model,” Marleni says. “Our youth need role models. They meed somebody who will see their potential and empower them. I believe there’s a leader in everyone.”
