Another proud #RICalumni making news in the provjournal this week: Yanaiza Gallant ‘01, principal at Orlo Ave. Elementary in #EastProvidence “has been credited with turning around a school culture once considered toxic... Gallant, fresh off her 2012 #milkeneducatoraward, the Oscar of the teaching profession, became the school’s cheerleader.” Her motto, which she tells her students (and is printed on her t-shirt), is #hardworkworks! 🙌
