## Caption

Gilgo Beach suspect Rex Heuermann has reportedly found a sympathetic correspondent while awaiting trial at a Long Island detention facility — the convicted killer known as the “Happy Face Killer.” Keith Jesperson, a former long-haul truck driver nicknamed for signing taunting letters to law enforcement and media with a smiley face, was arrested in 1995 and later confessed to killing eight women between 1990 and 1995 across California, Washington, Oregon, Florida, Nebraska, and Wyoming. #gilgobeach #rexheuermann #happyfacekiller #keithkesperson #crime
