A FedEx driver has confessed to abducting and killing a young girl whose Christmas gift he was delivering, just before his capital murder trial was set to begin. Tanner Horner, 34, entered a guilty plea moments before proceedings began over the November 2022 killing of seven-year-old Athena Strand in Fort Worth, Texas. Athena was taken from her family’s North Texas home on November 30, 2022. Horner told investigators he was delivering a package containing Barbie dolls when he accidentally struck the girl with his truck, then panicked, took her, and placed her in his vehicle. #tannerhorner #athenastrand
