Film Probe Conversation with Thomas Kail | Director of Disney’s Live Action Moana | In Cinemas July 10th | PART 4 Moana is back on the big screen after 10 years but this time, it’s live action. Getting to speak with Thomas Kail was personally a very magical moment. I have been an admirer of his work for a very long time. I remember being gifted Hamilton tickets for my birthday one year and crying. His stories and his voice have gotten me through many moments of my life. In this interview I ask Thomas Kail a number of questions from the responsibility of re-telling this story and working with CGI, especially coming from a theatre background. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed doing it. I was so incredible nervous but when I rewatch this, I have the biggest smile on my face. Kail is so passionate about his work and it shows in Moana. Thank you so much to the team at @DDA Global for giving me this opportunity. Thank you also to @Disney UK @Disney Studios @Disney Parks for having me. I can’t wait to do more!! #filmprobe #moana #filminterview #disney
