## Caption

Well, I can confidently say we’d be missing countless stories, characters and moments that have defined cinema since the beginning. This post is a fun way to highlight some of my favourite female directors and their work. Sometimes I argue with myself and think sharing a post about female directors only highlights the gap even more but on the other hand, I love to share films made by women and the stories told by women and characters created by women. Here are some (and I truly mean some) of my favourite films directed by women. This post only scratches the surface to the plethora of stories brought to screen by women. #femaledirector #filmrecommendations #filmlist #womeninfilm
