We are thrilled to launch the Elephant in the Room, a short animated film narrated by Himesh Patel, illustrated by @Alice Bowsher and animated by Plastic Horse. This poignant story follows a child worrying about having ‘no stories to tell or clothes to wear’ when he goes back to school at the end of the summer, highlighting the many challenges facing UK families during the school holidays. Poverty no longer needs to be the elephant in the room. @savechildrenuk is bridging the summer holiday gap with food, activities and cash grants for families now - while fighting to end child poverty for good.
