## Caption

Coastal waters around #SanDiego have been lit up by #bioluminescent tides recently. The blue neon glow is created by algae blooms called red tides that react with bioluminescence when jostled by waves or movement in the water. To view these electric blue waves, head to the beach at least two hours after sunset. Use caution and be sure to follow social distancing guidelines 🌊 #instaUCSD
