For our whole lives, we hear “if you really cared, you’d remember.” “If it is important to you, you will do it”
But needing support isn’t a character flaw. You can be loyal, dependable, loving, and still need reminders, routines, accommodation and support to follow through. You don’t need to change who you are. You need systems that work with how your brain works.
