## Caption

An emu was loose on the Salisbury Bypass near the Ocean City Exit in Maryland for about three hours Saturday before troopers corralled it with a dog leash, Maryland State Police said. 

The emu was hit by a car around 1:30 p.m. but was not injured, and was returned to its owners around 3 p.m. Officials have not said how it got loose.
