There’s no place like home.

I love home, I love all things home and I especially love our home. 
I have always looked at our home as our shelter + refuge. After the fire I was struggling with the thought of our home and the memories of that morning.
Today, I was talking with my Dad and he said “Boy O boy, your home sure protected your family.” “It’s amazing how safe she is.” I’ve been struggling with fear and anxiety the past few days, I haven’t wanted to go back home, it didn’t feel safe anymore.
When my Dad said that, I felt different, I needed that word. I felt like our home protected us, I mean I know God did, but I looked at our house differently today. I’m starting to see her as our refuge and shelter again and I’m so thankful.
