The Plan B 💊 is an “emergency” contraceptive and is not intended for regular use.

It works by delaying ovulation 🥚 and should be taken as soon as possible, ideally within 72 hours ⏱ after unprotected bedroom entanglements.

Its effectiveness may decrease for individuals with higher body weight ⚖️. 

Other options, such as Ella or an IUD, can be effective for up to 5 days but require a prescription. 

Also, please note that Plan B does not interfere with an existing pregnancy 🤰.
