To make sure that patients are taking their medications as directed, medication education is crucial.

Lack of understanding is one of the reasons patients don’t take their medication. They might not comprehend how to use medication or the rationale behind the prescription. 

Medical professionals should spend more time explaining drugs to their patients. 

The better decisions they make will depend on how much information they have about their drug.
