Did you know you could get tested for g3n1tal herpes? 

Know that If you have blisters or sores when your doctor or nurse examines you, they can order a test to look for herpes. 

There are a few different tests that can do this and will require the doctor or nurse to take a sample of cells or fluid from a sore and sends it to the lab.

If you don’t have symptoms when your doctor or nurse examines you, they will sometimes take a blood sample for testing. This can show them if you have been exposed to the virus.
