Coquine, the Southeast Portland restaurant widely considered one of Portland’s very best, will end as we know it in late October, owner Katy Millard told The Oregonian/OregonLive.

But the charming Mount Tabor storefront won’t be closed for long. After a remodel, the restaurant at Southeast Belmont Street and 69th Avenue hopes to reopen in mid-November as Katy Jane’s, a new, more approachable eatery.
