Hello Friends! New Episode Up! Writer, Comedian and Actor, Yassir Lester and I discuss the 1995 Horror Anthology “Tales from the Hood.” In light of the nationwide protests and outrage due to the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery by the hands of cops, we talk about sensitive topics like racial inequality and police brutality while exploring the film. Full disclosure, we scheduled this discussion nearly a month in advance of the recording last week, not knowing that the very relevant themes of police brutality highlighted in the movie would mirror the real life horrors we face and continue to fight today.
