not a fan of pumpkin but still want the fall goodness??? well then make these MAPLE APPLE FILLED BAKED OATS !!

i know there are some out there where christmas time starts november 1st buttttt chocolate & peppermint recipes won’t make their appearance until after thanksgiving over here ;)

HOW TO MAKE ↴⁣
- 1/2 c oats
- 2 tbs vanilla protein (can sub more oats + splash of vanilla extract)
- 1/2 c nut milk
- 1/2 tbs chia seeds
- sprinkle of salt & lots of cinnamon
- 1 date & splash of maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbs yogurt
- 1/4 c applesauce
blend together all ingredients. transfer most of the batter to an oven safe bowl. put the apple filling in the middle. pour the rest of the batter on top. bake at 400 F for 20-22 mins (26-28 mins for more cakey texture). add walnuts & pecans on top & enjoy :)

apple filling: finely chop ~1/2 an apple & mix with a splash of maple syrup & cinnamon.
