ask & you shall receive. some have requested bagels that are vegan (don’t use greek yogurt like my others) sooo here are some super fluffy & delicious homemade bagels using coconut yogurt instead 🤩⁣
⁣
this was actually my first time having coconut yogurt & i was pleasantly surprised ! i wasn’t sure if the texture would be as good as my other greek yogurt bagels but it actually turned out PERFECT !!!⁣

even if you aren’t vegan, i highly recommend you give this recipe a try bc i can’t put into words how good they were 🤤🤤⁣ texture was just on point 👌

HOW TO MAKE ↴⁣
⁣
- 1/2 c coconut yogurt⁣ (so_delicious)
- 2 tbs syrup⁣
- 1 tsp vanilla⁣
combine in a bowl. ⁣
⁣
- 1/4 tsp salt⁣
- 2 tsp baking powder⁣
- 1 tsp cinnamon⁣
- 1 c flour (all purpose or whole wheat)⁣
- 1 tbs flaxseed (opt)⁣
sift into wet ingredients. mix until dough forms. dust a surface w more flour & knead into a ball. divide in half then make 2 bagel shapes. place on greased baking sheet. ⁣
⁣
- 2 tsp vegan butter melted⁣
- 2 tsp coconut sugar ⁣
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon ⁣
brush melted butter onto bagels. mix coconut sugar & cinnamon together. sprinkle onto bagels. bake 20-22 mins at 375 F (190 C) or until toothpick comes out clean. let cool, slice, spread some sperofoods cream cheese, & enjoy :)⁣

∗∗ substitutions:⁣
- syrup → agave or honey⁣
- coconut yogurt → greek yogurt (i didn’t experiment greek yogurt w this exact recipe, but i have used greek yogurt in past bagel recipes that worked good:)⁣
