» RED VELVET BROWNIE SKILLET «⁣
⁣
sooo yeah, swipe for that video, go run to the kitchen, & make this rn & if you don’t have a skillet then hope on amazon & get one 😤 (or just use a ramekin haha)⁣
⁣
i was so stressed i was trying to get these pics but the lighting was not it & then the ice cream started melting & ahhhh 😫 hopefully the “first bite taste test” video i put on my story will help you understand how awesome this was omgggg⁣
⁣
but apparently red velvet is just a mild chocolate flavor w red food coloring? i always thought there was some specific flavoring that made it 🤨 so for this i used beetroot powder for the red velvet part but you could definitely just use red food coloring instead 😉 (more substitutes listed at the bottom too!)⁣
⁣
HOW TO MAKE ↴⁣
⁣
- 1/3 c all purpose flour⁣
- 2 tbs unsweetened cacao powder (hiitnutrition)⁣
- 2 tsp beet root powder⁣
- 1/2 tsp baking powder⁣
- pinch of salt⁣
combine in a bowl. ⁣
⁣
- 1/4 c egg whites⁣
- 1 tbs melted coconut oil⁣
- 2 tbs coconut sugar⁣
- 2 tbs maple syrup⁣
- 1 tsp vanilla⁣
combine in separate bowl. then add to dry ingredients. bake ~23-27 mins at 350 F or until knife comes out clean. best topped w vanilla ice cream, choc chips, & a chocolate drizzle (vorfoods)⁣
⁣
∗∗ substitutions: (ingredients above are recommended, but these subs would work too)⁣
- beetroot powder → squirt of red food coloring⁣
- egg whites → 1 egg or flax egg ⁣
- coconut sugar → brown or regular sugar⁣
- coconut oil → butter⁣
- maple syrup → agave, honey, or more sugar⁣
