» PB BANANA CREAM POPSICLES «⁣
⁣
happy earth day everybodyyyyy !!!🌎💙💚 in celebration of today i decided to make these AWESOMEEE homemade dessert popsicles using my reusable popsicle mold from zokuhq !!⁣
⁣
especially in the kitchen, it can be hard to avoid single use plastics bc so many things come in plastic packaging :( but there are many small things you can do that add up to make a huge difference !⁣ #littlesteps
⁣
my favorite ways of being sustainable in the kitchen include repurposing old jars (smuckersbrand pb comes in glass jars :), buying things in bulk, researching for sustainable brands (misfitshealth), silicone baking sheets (zulay_kitchen), beeswax wrap (beeswrap), reusable containers (zokuhq), & lastly i try to avoid food waste as much as possible (aka leftovers are your bestie;)⁣
⁣
zokuhq has a bunch of other things i like such as their portable straws & utensil sets so go get some goods & save the earth !! (& use code MAKENZIE for 10% off!)⁣
⁣
NOW ONTO THESE POPSICLES ↴⁣
⁣
- 3 bananas⁣
- 1/2 c yogurt⁣
- 1 c almond milk⁣
- 1 tsp vanilla extract⁣
- *opt* 1/4 c protein powder⁣ (misfitshealth - code MAKENZIE20 for discount!)
- 2 tbs peanut butter⁣ (omit if nut free)
- cinnamon⁣
blend together. pour into popsicle tray. freeze overnight. run popsicle under hot water to remove. top w pb & choc drizzle (vorfoods) & enjoy !⁣
⁣
I ALSO MADE A VIDEO FOR THESE ON TIK TOK FOR MY HEALTHY RECIPE SUMMER RECIPE COUNTDOWN so go check that out to for a better demonstration 😉
