## Caption

There is newfound hope for our patient Austin, 18, from Cherry Hill, NJ, who is our first sickle cell disease patient outside a clinical trial to begin the treatment process for the newly FDA approved sickle cell gene therapy called Casgevy. It's just the beginning for Austin as the treatment process can take about a year, which includes stem cell collection, blood transfusions, chemotherapy and inpatient hospital stays.
