#CHOPCureSickleCell ambassador, Saniya, has a great sense of humor, loves people and enjoys dance and modeling. This 19-year-old explains that living with sickle cell disease is challenging: “It’s hard, sometimes, being sick and needing to take medicine.” Saniya has been in CHOP’s care since she was a baby, calling it “the best hospital ever.” Her future is bright as Saniya is headed to college to study nursing and wants to be a pediatric nurse, just like those who have helped her at CHOP.
