We want to highlight our #CHOPWalkforHope ambassador, Lexi! She is 16 years old and is an outgoing and driven teen who has lived with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) for nearly her whole life. After her symptoms worsened and she was hospitalized as an infant, her family turned to CHOP to seek pediatric experts. Lexi received treatment to keep her disease under control and today, she no longer needs medication and has had no return symptoms. She loves cheerleading, playing board games and hanging out at the beach!
