Congratulations Dr. Antonella Cianferoni! She was recently honored at the first-ever Italian American Medical Awards, honoring outstanding individuals of Italian origin in the American medical community. Dr. Cianferoni was recognized for her pioneering research into #eosinophilicesophagitis, or #EoE, a rare inflammatory condition of the esophagus caused by #foodallergies. CHOP is one of the only pediatric hospitals in the country that specializes in this condition, thanks in part to the amazing work of Dr. Cianferoni!
