Let me tell you, this lesson runs deeeep within me ever since my high school days when I learned very quickly that writing essays was a major weakness of mine.

While some people could whip up a 15-page paper in a week and score top marks, that was simply not the case for me.

However, I refused to let my dream of acing the class slip away. I started breaking down my goal into smaller, more manageable steps with deadlines attached to them over months.

Sure, it wasn't as easy or as free-flowing as I would've liked, but hey, I got the grades I desired 🙌🏾
As a creative, it's easy to get caught up in all the exciting ideas floating around in your head.

But I’ve learned that without proper planning and a solid timeline with milestones, I've seen two things happen time and time again.

First, projects don't get completed. And second, when they do, the process is often chaotic and physically/emotionally/mentally draining.

This week, I hope you take a little extra time to create your battle plan for the week.

I know it’s not fun or sexy, but your dreams are and your peace of mind is worth it 🫶🏿
