## Caption

Today, I wanted to share with you a playlist of a few songs, artists, and pieces that were soundtracks to my early years of life. My heart was smiling the whole time I was putting this list together. I reminisced on memories like listening to #VanCliburn ‘s take on Rachmaninoff’s C minor piano concerto on my bedroom floor and weeping by its romantic beauty, or sitting with my father as he introduced Nigerian musicians like sunnyadeofficial to me and instruments such as the talking drum, or even dancing in my car seat with my siblings while my mother played us theharrybelafonte ‘s “Mama, Look A Boo Boo”. Those memories are palpable and the recordings have shaped my musical palate in more ways that I probably even recognize. I hope this playlist gives a little glimpse into me. I’ll most likely be updating it at random times as I feel the inspiration to share more influences. Listen at the link in bio.
