Milia are tiny keratin cysts trapped under the skin. That’s why they won’t pop, and why squeezing them does nothing but leave a mark.

I had one on my face for months. Cleared it with two OTC products, no extraction needed. Salicylic acid to break down the keratin, a retinol to keep it from reforming.
