" ‘Ask once, believe you have received, and all you have to do to receive is feel good.’ This is a quote from the book ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne, and it instills in you that positivity is key, and has changed how I see things.
Throughout high school, just like everyone else, I was trying to find my way. I just wanted to discover who I was and where I wanted to go in life. I had good friends, but I never felt like I belonged anywhere; I always felt like something was missing. I felt stuck.
One day, my brother told me about a book (the one I just quoted) and how it changed his life. And so, I decided to give it a glance. After reading it, I had a completely different outlook on life. I used to focus on all of the negatives, and that caused more negative things to happen in my life; it's called ‘The Law of Attraction.’ The energy that you exude comes full circle, back to you. Our minds are amazing! We have the power to get whatever we want, if we just believe and envision it. It could be anything from money to love to a job; anything that you can dream of. If you ask for it, picture yourself already achieving it, you will receive it, guaranteed.
This book not only helped me become a more positive person, but it also reawakened a spiritual influence in my life. I have carried it with me and continue to grow as a person to this day. This way of thinking helps me to see more of the good in life. It allows me to be grateful for all that I do have.
