“I think the most interesting thing about me is wanting to stand out rather than wanting to blend in. Montclair State has introduced me to some of the finest people around, and has completely changed my perspective on life. Before coming to Montclair, my life’s direction was at a standstill, but the second I moved here with my sister Christie in 2014, I knew this was the place for me. Upon leaving Brookdale Community College, I applied to a four year university. I applied to one school and one school only, and that was Montclair State. I am beyond grateful to have been sent on my life’s journey, and to wake-up every single morning, blessed to be here. The atmosphere is beyond what I dreamed of, and it is safe to say that this school has changed me for the better.
My one message is clear, I want as many people to be happy around me as possible. I will do everything in my power to get my message across to this whole campus. To anyone who is afraid to stand-out, I ask you this, ‘why blend in, when you can be original and really have the opportunity to connect with people?’
I love this school. I love its people. I love its atmosphere. Montclair State really made me grow as a person, and I am forever thankful for having the opportunity to better myself as a person, and for the chance to gain tools to strengthen my knowledge and use them to make an impact on my future.” #RHOMS #RedHawkPride #DontBlendIn #ILoveMontclairState #CarpeDiem #SeizeTheDay #RedHawkLife

-I love getting people involved on campus. I try to spread my positivity to as many people as possible, like the Sam’s Place workers, by engaging them in conversation and taking pictures with them (See #SamsPlaceFinest on Instagram).
