We are excited to announce that we will be posting Admissions Ambassador Spotlights every week this semester! Today, learn a little bit more about #RedHawkLife from commuter student Michael Statile. "My name is Michael Statile and I am a junior here at Montclair State. I am a Family and Child Studies Major with a concentration in Family Services, and I am also a commuter student. So many potential students always ask us if they commute to school, will they be able to get involved or are commuters excluded from activities outside of class? The inclusion of commuters is one of the many reasons why I love Montclair State! I got myself involved in many different activities, including working in the Undergraduate Admissions office and becoming of a member of Student Life at Montclair (SLAM). With that being said, I have met countless potential students that are interested in coming to our school and joining Red Hawk Country who are in the same boat that I was just 3 years ago. College is what you make of it, and getting involved is something that will make your experience that much better, and it is something that is so easy to do here at Montclair State! I love this campus, the students, faculty, and entire atmosphere and would not change any of it for the world!" #MontclairState #MSUApproved #RedHawkCountry #RedHawkFrenzy #RedHawkPride #NewJersey #NJ #college
