What a weekend! 🙌🏼💙 Our third annual Tradition Barbell Open & the third meet that I’ve had the opportunity to help Rebeca & our team run, has officially come to a close. Thank you to all the athletes who signed up & competed; all the volunteers who helped us out all weekend; to the vendors & sponsors who came out & supported us; & to the spectators for coming out & supporting our event & the athletes competing as well.

This year we had 71 athletes compete over five sessions during the day for our biggest event yet. There were so many firsts, PR’s, big lifts, & a whole lot of fun!! Congratulations to all of the athletes on a great day of lifting & a special congrats to everyone who qualified for States, Nationals, & Pan Ams as well. We are honored to have been a part of your qualifying process!

For me, it’s always rewarding to see an event from the planning phase, to being successfully run, but more importantly, i love hearing stories of what was accomplished during our event. That’s what it’s all about! Bringing our community together, celebrating weightlifting, celebrating our athletes’ accomplishments, & having a great time!

This year’s meet is in the books, I can’t wait until next year! We hope you all will join us in 2024! 🙌🏼
