DID YOU KNOW that pesticide use is one of the leading causes of insect decline globally?

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an environmentally sensitive, holistic approach to pest control. It aims to minimize the use of synthetic pesticides by using a scientific-based process that includes monitoring, identifying, decision-making, and setting-up controls which can be a mix of cultural, biological, and mechanical practices.

Writer Danae Wolfe dives into sustainable pest management in the May/June issue of The American Gardener, an exclusive magazine published for our members. As part of our sustainable gardening initiative, we have made this story public.
