I hung a new sign in my office recently.
Just three simple words: Remember why you started.

It’s such a grounding reminder.
Because when we’re knee-deep in deadlines…
When the inbox is overflowing and the spark starts to fade…
It’s easy to forget what lit us up in the first place.

That dream you chased when you said yes to the job.
That thrill you felt about the mission, the team, the impact.
That gut feeling that told you “this matters.”

Sometimes we don’t need a brand new path.
We just need to reconnect with the one we’re already on.

So pause. Take a breath. And ask yourself:
Why did I start?
What was the energy, the purpose, the vision that pulled me here?
How might I rekindle that in the work I’m doing today?

Because clarity doesn’t always come from looking ahead,
sometimes, it comes from looking back at the spark that started it all.
