At the Rio Olympic Trials, I didn’t need to win, I just place top 3.
Top 3 = Olympics.

And I got…
Fourth.

Four years of sweat.
Four years of sacrifice.
And one result that didn’t go my way.

But here’s the wild part,
That race, the one where I didn’t make it?
It made me believe in myself even more.

Because I still showed up.
Still got on the track.
Still gave everything I had.

I didn’t let a number on a scoreboard decide what I stood for.

And now, when I speak?
More people are inspired by that “failure” than the moment I *did* make the Olympics.

Because success is a story we remember.
But failure?
That’s the story we carry.

It shapes us.
Fuels us.
Reveals us.

And maybe it’s the same for you.
Maybe the moment that didn’t go your way…
is the one that taught you the most about who you are.
The one that gave you a new gear.
The one that still echoes when things get hard.

Not every win looks like a podium.
Sometimes, it looks like refusing to stay down.
