Excellence truly is magnetic. The other day, I experienced just how contagious it can be. I was on a casual run, just keeping my pace, when someone sprinted by, obviously pushing themselves.

Watching them, I felt inspired, motivated to see if I could step it up too. They didn’t say a word, but their effort challenged me to give more than I thought possible when I started that day.

This is why surrounding ourselves with excellence is so powerful. When we’re around people who raise the bar and challenge themselves, it brings out a higher level of drive within us too.

So, take a look at your circle. Are they pursuing excellence? Are they inspiring you to push further, dig deeper, and bring your best self forward?

And to the stranger on the run that day, thank you for reminding me what’s possible when we surround ourselves with excellence!
