This is a camcamlarsen appreciation post! (Don’t mind the old video.) For those of you who don’t know, I met Cameron a decade ago when Corner Canyon first opened. I was a brand new coach, and he was a young and energetic choreographer, and we have been inseparable since. He is not only a friend, but also a true partner in building this thing we call Corner Canyon Cheer. We see things differently, sometimes fight like crazy, but always find the perfect middle ground. Our visions and our love for these kids and this program always seem to meet exactly where they are supposed to, and I can’t imagine this team without him. I mean, in a decade I’ve only tried to fire him twice lol so I’d say we are doing pretty good! (I was emotional and he talked some sense into me both times!) He is the perfect balance for me, and we’ve both talked each other off of a ledge more times than I can count. Cameron, thank you for putting up with my crazy passion and meltdowns, and for never giving up on me or this program. Thank you also for being one of my dearest friends and someone that is always in my corner (get it?! Haha). I love you, and we are so grateful for you and for the endless love and time that you pour into this program. Thank you also for giving us our absolute favorite hype man/cheer dad/coach/handyman/problem solver/cheerleader grafcm 💙🤍 We couldn’t make it without either of you! HERE. WE. GO!
