You know how yesterday we kinda bragged about the people who made the Looking For America Tour so special? Well we’re not done yet… We want to brag about our crew: our touring family who day in and day out made it possible for us to play on stage every night. We want you to get to know them a bit, so let us tell you about some of the finest men you could ever hope to play 70 shows with. .
Josh Phiffer:
This guy is one of the kindest souls around. Josh is our guitar tech and also runs our merch at the shows. He has played a huge part of what happens on stage during the show and what the t-shirts and flannels and jackets end up looking like. .
Ryan Nichols:
Talk about talented… if you have ever been to a Switchfoot show in the last 15 years, that show was mixed by none other than this man. He is witty, with an easygoing wisdom that’s ready for the bumps in the road. As Jon always says, "He’s been in the band longer than drew!” It is such a privilege to work with this guy. .
Chico:
Did the bus break down? Did you forget your guitar? Did the airport shut down? No worries! Chico has you covered. Chico is our Tour Manager and is one of the hardest working members of the team. His ability to face a challenge head on is incredible, and he has probably added years to our lives because of the stress he has saved us- we love you Chico!
.
Erick Frost:
Meet the newest member of the team! Erick is our VIP guy, and also handles tour photography while we’re on the road. I can’t think of anyone who has as much excitement and energy as Erick. He came out and crushed it- how great is that!
Travis Stoker:
If you went to the Looking For America Tour and were amazed by the lights, well guess what? This guy is the man behind the curtain! One of the hardest working guys on our team, Travis has an incredible attitude and it is inspiring to watch this guy work!
Joe Napier:
Musician? Check. Dry wit? Check. Humble and Genuine? Triple check. Joe came out on this tour as a representative of Cure, and quickly became such a integral part of our road family. A great conversation is never too far away from this guy.
