## Caption

A series of severe flash floods swept through a number of Turkish towns last week. This is sadly the second environmental catastrophe to hit the country this month, following devastating summer wildfires that scorched thousands of square kilometers this summer.

Satellite imagery captured by SkySat of Ayancık, Bozkurt, and ilişi Plajı on August 13, 2021.
