An incredible way to learn about dinosaur habitats! 🦕🦖 Thanks for sharing heathershousetoday!
・・・
Exploring #dinosaurs this morning on the #tufftray using play dough! We want to reuse this so instead of adding messy materials just a few loose rocks, our #safariltd fossil tube and Cambrian sea creatures as well as some home made salt dough Dino eggs. We are representing environments here and learned in our book that each prehistoric period had a different climate. Eva and I added different textures to each colour and of course lava is just fun! The youngest little immediately starting posting rocks in the volcano while everyone else made nests, fossil prints, footprints and of course rock cakes. We used a lot of #playdough for our animal tracks unit and they loved it so this was a no brainer 😉We have 2 more #playtray ways to explore dinosaurs with natural materials this week but I love these colours! #learningthroughplay #naturestudy #preschoolscience #preschoolathome #prek #earlyyears #earlylearning #invitationtoexplore #invitationtolearn #tuffspot #sensoryplayideas #inhomedaycare #playislearning #earlyyears #earlylearning #handsonlearning #playlearnexplore #traysthatteach #trayfortheday #tuffspot #smallworldplay #howweplayandlearn #trailwalksandlittletalks
