The loop of the #haywire #twist is very important. The diameter of the loop must be large enough to allow either your #swivel or #hook to move freely without any snags. The shape of the loop should be similar to a pear. When pressure is applied, the loop will compress. Kinks will occur when the hook and/or swivel is unable to move.
