Save this one for your next cosy evening in 😍🇲🇽

Here’s my take on Mexican hot chocolate, also known as Champurrado and in my opinion is a level up from OG hot coco! So glad I stumbled across this, it’s SO good! The extra spices add that little touch of health too which is always a bonus! 😋

Don’t be scared of the chilli it really makes this and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. 🌶

This serves one but double up for two of course…

🤎 Ingredients:
A cup and a half of your favourite milk (the extra half is needed as it will reduce slightly when simmering.)
Cinnamon stick (or 1/4 tsp of cinnamon)
Pinch or 1/4 tsp of chilli
2 tablespoons if cocoa powder
1 table sooon of cacao
Dash of maple (or tsp of coconut sugar)
Drop of vanilla extract

🤎Method:
Bring the milk to the boil, mix in all the ingredients one by one, leave to simmer for around 5-10 mins depending on what consistency you like, serve and enjoy! 🥰

P.S: Did you know cinnamon actually helps increase blood flow and can reduce blood pressure! 🤓
