Did you know that today is the anniversary of the Great Fire of Pittsburgh which destroyed a third of the city on April 10, 1845? Artist William C. Wall witnessed the fire and painted a series of canvases depicting the tragedy, many of which are in our collection. Want to check out the other paintings? You can peruse our collection online by heading to the link in our bio.
