## Caption

This is not a drawing. While at first glance, the handwritten numbers and curved hardware may look like marks of a pen, this work by #LenkaClayton created entirely with the keystrokes and symbols of a typewriter.
.
Clayton, who participated in our 2018 #CarnegieInternational, created a series of typewriter drawings inspired by scenes and materials found here at the museum. This piece is on view in A Pittsburgh Anthology in our collection galleries.
