## Caption

This year, our Carnegie Trees display is inspired by works from the collection. This tree takes its decorative inspiration from Jean-Théodore Dupas's Chariot of Aurora, on view in the Scaife galleries.
.
Chariot of Aurora, a mixed-media wall relief, measures 18 by 26 feet and is a striking example of the Art Deco style. Drop in any day we're open from 1–3 p.m. to learn more about the works that inspired the trees from a docent.
.
The Carnegie Trees and presepio display is on view until January 6, 2020.
