"The most common definition of home is the physical place where someone lives. But from our perspective, home means both a tangible place and the relationships individuals build with one another to form close bonds and create a sense of community. We sought to conjure feelings of love and belonging that exist inside a physical space and between people. Our shared experiences of home can be as concrete as eating at the same restaurant, going to a Pirates game, and having played at the same neighborhood playground; or as expansive as the air that we breathe and encounters with Pittsburgh weather." – YAI
