Celebrate the creative energy of Wilkinsburg next week at Third Thursday: Block Party! We're hosting barrelspgh for a special steelpan performance, so find your rhythm and try out the instrument for yourself.
.
"Steelpan is intriguing and unique," says founder Leigh Solomon Pugliano. "But the history behind it is even more intriguing and deserves to be told. We want our audiences to not only connect with the steelpan, but to connect through music and understand the importance of creative expression."
.
Third Thursday: Block Party is June 20 from 8–11 p.m. Tickets are just $10 at cmoa.org.
